GI Factor Commonly Asked Questions

What is GI Factor and how does it work?

GI Factor contains ingredients that have been shown to help support and maintain normal healthy blood sugar levels (in healthy people). Unstable blood sugar levels can affect energy levels resulting in highs in lows in energy.

Health experts generally agree that stable blood sugar is important for general health, energy and overall well-being.

GI Factor also contains ingredients which can help to reduce cravings for sweet foods that may develop due to such things as dieting.

Included in GI Factor is a powerful antioxidant, Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA). Antioxidants have numerous health benefits, reducing the damage caused by free radicals in the body.

When should I take GI Factor?

GI Factor should be taken with lunch and dinner. These are likely the two largest meals of the day and generally contain the most carbohydrates. Therefore, taking GI Factor with these meals will help keep blood sugar levels stable and prevent the energy slumps and sugar cravings that often follow a few hours after these meals.

Why don’t I have GI Factor with breakfast?

When you wake up in the morning after fasting for 6-8 hours whilst asleep, your blood glucose tends to be low and your liver glycogen (carbohydrate) stores are depleted. As a result, when you have breakfast, the insulin spike that results will tend to promote the replenishment of your blood glucose and liver glycogen stores rather than promote fat storage. Therefore, it is not essential to take GI Factor with breakfast.

Can everyone use GI Factor?

If you are unsure if GI Factor is appropriate for you, please consult your doctor or health professional.

How does GI Factor get rid of cravings?

Since cravings often result from a low blood glucose level, maintaining a stable blood glucose level may reduce cravings.

Do I need to cycle its use?

No. GI Factor may be used on a daily basis.

Can I use GI Factor on its own?

Yes. You can use GI Factor on its own, however, for weight-loss purposes it best to use it in combination with MultiBoost and XLR8 Thermogenic.
